But in reality, Crysis was an average shooter covered with a diamond coat, the same way that Diablo 3's combat just simply covers up the bulk of its mediocre aspects. By that account, Crysis is the golden standard for all shooters, cause it has the prettiest graphics (since you are glorifying D3 for it's pretty combat). But diablo III, by no means holds the same merit its predecessor did. D2 is the basis for many ARPGs and probably will remain to do so. You seem to be placing Diablo 3 on a gold glitter covered paper pedestal. But 1000's of builds, that's honestly a large illusion. A few builds work magic, the rest is doable to some degree to completely not viable. My brother still plays D3 and essentially concluded that it's the same old same old. Gear? Just swap it out and you're good to go.Īnd 1000's of possible builds, that's just overdoing it. Given there is no manual stat allocation, all your 10 wizards will have exactly the same stats. I'm sorry, but lolwut? You would literally have one single wizard, because you can just swap all your skills on the fly into your new build. If Wolcen has even a fraction of Diablo III's build variety then it will be a very good game indeed. You could fill up your 10 character slots with nothing but Wizards, and each one would have its own distinctive play style. Ursprünglich geschrieben von Mountain Man:I think the skills, loot, and absurd number of viable builds (we're talking thousands for each class) contributes significantly to Diablo III's longevity.
